"Seeing someone reading a book you love is seeing a book recommending a person."
"The Master and Margarita," by Mikhail Bulgakov
Translated by Michael Karpelson
First time seeing this quote, but it’s so damn wise.
Brilliant bus shelter ad for Mexico’s ANAR Foundation, which works to end child abuse, uses lenticular technology to display a message only children can see.
When viewed from an adult’s eye level, the image appears to be of a healthy child and the text reads: “Sometimes child abuse is only visible to the child suffering it.”
When viewed upwards, from a child’s eye level, the face transforms into one with bruises and the text reads: “If somebody hurts you, phone us and we’ll help you,” along with ANAR’s helpline number.
This is fantastic. Sad that it’s necessary, but a fantastic idea all the same.
